I am a former student at Chethams School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music Juniors who's previous teacher has taught the likes of Stephen Hough, James May and Leon McCawley  With my customisable approach, I’ve seen my students self-esteem and skill-set consistently rise. MUSIC THEORY

Recommendations

With each lesson I would recommend to have theory lessons, normally 15 minutes a week extra or included within the lesson . I feel this really helps students understand what the black dots on the page are all about and this helps them relate this to a greater understanding in music and can make them progress at a faster rate than without theory.

BEGINNER FUNDAMENTALS

Personalized Attention

Playing the piano is so much more than working through grades. If a person has been taught correctly from scratch with the correct posture and technique then this will allow them to progress more independently and will offer them more enjoyment and less frustration with correcting technique later down the line.
